This insurance will cover the costs charged by a vet for treating your cat or dog. The benefits provided by the insurance are determined by the type of plan you choose. It’s possible to agree a policy which will cover all treatment and operations, including check-ups, vaccinations, castration and physio. You can however choose only to cover operations or accident related care. To arrange the insurance, your pet must be healthy, have a microchip or tattoo and have had their initial vaccinations. Pets that are older than 4 years must be examined by a vet before insurance cover can be offered and a premium surcharge will apply based on the animal’s current age.
